OOTD : High Low Shirt and the Beach

Goa Travel Diaries

Hello Girls,

Its April and spring is here, I welcome this beautiful season of colors and fun. The best way to start the month couldn’t get better than an outfit post. If you people follow me on Instagram, you must know I travelled to Goa a while ago. I have to share a few outfit posts with you all. This outfit is the first from the lot.

This was my first day in the city; and we were heading to South Goa. It was pretty humid and sunny. I didn’t want to get tanned and I dressed as I would normally do in Kolkata. My city has made me a conservative dresser, therefore I played it safe with all proper clothes for the first day.

Though the outfit is not beach ready but quite colorful.  We didn’t plan to hit the beach that day though, but this just happened.  I chose to wear my indigo blue Zara jeggings. To pair it up, I chose to wear an invertible/both side high low shirt. This is quite a unique piece of outfit I got my hands when in Delhi. It’s light, comfy and floral all that I like and prefer during the summers. I wore it both ways during the day, also wore it as a knotted shirt. This high low shirt can be used as a shrug or jacket too over dresses or jump suits.

To keep up with the heat, I chose to wear these in vogue round frame sunnies bought from Goa on the Go. To save my delicate head and hair, I opted for this giant hat to cover up and stay protected.

When it comes to choosing accessories in this humid weather I choose it wisely. I wore a pair of funky neon double ball earrings. This added the spunk to the look and also matched my sunnies DrinksI wore a white CK watch on the left hand and a simple crystal bangle on the right hand. For footwear I wore these Croc sandals apt for the beach as they are washable and elastic enough to walk on the sand and water.

For makeup, it had to minimal. I wore my favorite high protection sunscreen of SPF 90 by Lotus Herbals. It is tinted enough to skip the base for the day time. I carried a spray suncreeen ( shown here ) in my bag for on the go touch ups.I didn’t wear any eye makeup as I knew my eyes will not be alone and will be protected throughout with the shades. Instead I kept the lips bright and apt for the day. I wore my favorite Orange shade by Colorbar.

That’s it for the first post from Goa. I will be back with another one soon. Some more pictures to  give you more bites of the day 1.

Goa Day Two is up here.
