Makeup Revolution Baked Eyeshadow Review

See it through my Eyes

I was so excited to see this small little palette and baked eye shadows have always excited me for their superior finish and pigmentation. I love MUR products and without second thought I grabbed this beauty during my first MUR international  haul.

As you can tell, this is a pack of five shadows housed in a plastic case. The lid id transparent and locks with a click making it secured to store. The palette name is mentioned at the bottom. I am not too impressed with the quality of the pack as the lid has scratched insanely in no time. Thus, making the transparent peep into the shadows hazy. This also makes the product look worn out and old Surprisednot happy. The shadows are embedded in 5 encased shadow pans inside the round palette. The shadows look exciting in their ball like shape. It also has a small dual end sponge tip aplicator, which is good for travel purpose.

There are five shades in their all in neutral tones. This palette is smoking hot for any nude and smoky eye makeup look. The shades are all amazing for Indian Wedding or Festivals look. As it has a warm brown, golden, bronze colors.  The shimmer is so flattering on the eyes and doesn’t look awkward or crumbly.

The shades are
From Top Left o Right ( no shade names mentioned )
Shade 1 – Pearl gold in color beautiful for the inner corners.
Shade 2- Gold- it is a muted gold which will  work beautifully on Indian skin tone.
Shade 3- Grey Brown- this hade is quit versatile and the darkest in the palette
Shade 4- Pink- This is also muted and give a beautiful Barbie doll eye look.
Shade 5 – Copper- I love this shade the most I think, it is brown and looks beautiful when paired with gold or pearl color.

These shadows are all shimmery, which is very subtle and looks angelic to me. The shimmer is fine milled and looks quite flattering on the eyes. These are one of the smoothest and butter like finish I have used recently. They do not cake up and crumble in the pan when I glide the brush on them.  The brush picks up the shadow quite well. When running short of time, I often pick up a color on my finger tip and rub it lightly on the lids to get that pretty everyday look. The shades work well with both finger tips and brush.

Pigmentation and Staying Power

The colors are decently pigmented which give a nice dry finish, not creamy. Thus the shadows have minimum creasing and stays on the primed eyes for long, say about 6 hours. The shades cover the lids in a single swipe with the finger, with a brush it should be build for around 2 layers for true color to show up. The shades are perfect for everyday use to bring on the glam factor and also for glam evening look.
