Marking the Ganesh Chaturthi the festive season begins with a bang. Being born and brought up on Calcutta, Durga Puja is a big festival for me. I have shared my Durga Puja Festive Look sometime back, hope you have checked it. Being an Indian married woman Karwachauth plays an important ritual I look forward to every year. This year it falls on 19th October 2016. My previous karwachauth look is shown HERE.

Makeup Products for Karwachauth Look

Keeping in mind the tough fast schedule we ladies have on this day, I have done a simple yet glam makeup look which can be done even when you are starving Blum 3 I will list down the products I have used for this look. I have shown exactly what I like to do on that day, I don’t go overboard with heavy outfit and jewelry and too much makeup. I cant pull all that off when am starving. So this look is very realistic, the one which a lady can actually do on karwachauth Embarassed

Lips
  • CAL Los Angeles Lipstick ( Review in the next post)
  • Coloressence Lip Liner

I have first use the primer and done the base with Coloressence HD foundation. To cover the dark circles and pigmentation used the Colorbar Concealer with orange lipstick. To set the makeup I baked using the Lakme Loose Powder.

For the eyes, I did my brows first with the Miss Claire brow pencil. For the eyeshadow I chose the Sleek Original Palette and picked the gold and pink shades. Lined it with my favorite pen liner. Finished the look with Kohl and Essence Big Lashes.

Coming back to the face, I have used the blush and highlight both from the same palette, Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette. For the lips I have used my new love CAL Fix Mauve from the Envy Pure Color collection. The most important part of is this look is the Sindoor, I have used the liquid sindoor by Jovees Herbals. last bit not the least, added bindis to bring the indian touch.

I kept the jewelry gorgeous and light, matching my salwar kamiz in coral and gold. I will wear this look for the day and thus kept it as realistic and doable as possible.

Let me know what are your festive plans?
