Indian Festive Day Time Makeup

Since the wedding season has begun and we have to attend a lot of them, I have come up with this day time look. I will show you a few looks which I would wear on a few weddings which I have to attend. This is the first look I wore for a day time affair. Say, a Gujrati wedding which takes place during the day time. If you are the bridesmaid or dulhe ki sister, you got to look charming. So lets begin.

I wanted my face to look dewy in the winters, thus I started with a primer to keep the base last long. I mixed the Chambor highlighter with my favorite full coverage foundation to give that lumi glow. I chose full coverage foundation even for day, to hide all the flaws which shows vividly in the day light. To hide the dark circles I had to color correct, for that I chose the orange lipstick. This was followed by the concealer by LA Girl. I set the face makeup with Street Wear Compact powder.

To start with the eyes, I wanted something quick yet dramatic since it is a wedding. Firstly, lets do the brows with Rimmel Eyebrow pencil which is my favorite these days. I took the silver/grey colossal liner and filled the eyes from the lash line up till the crease and blended it with my fingers. Since I was wearing a pink outfit, I wanted a contrast with eyes. I chose the turquoise liner and lined across the upper lash line and worked my way half till the crease.  I further intensified the line by lining it over. I extended it slightly in the outer corners. For the waterline, I wore the blackest kajal, the lotus eco stay. I touched the inner corners with a generous touch of silver liner.  Prepped up the eyes with mascara and was sorted.

For the lips I chose a bright fuchsia pink, the Miss Claire 07 shade. To match the whole pink avatar, the best choice for the cheeks was the Maybelline blush perfect for healthy flush of color. I skipped a highlighter, since I already used hte Chambor highlighter for a luminous look on the full face.

I teamed up the look with my favorite earrings and bindi, to bring the whole look together. Hope you like this look. Let me know if you would like to see more such looks on the blog.
