Purple and Gold eye Makeup

Festive Eye Makeup

My skin is pretty irritated at the moment so I wanted my skin to touch something natural and herbal. I skipped the regular primer and used the aloe vera gel instead. To give a flawless look I chose to wear the lightest and most blendable foundation my kitty, the Maybelline Fit me mixed with the chamber highlighter to give a dewy finish. To hide the dark circles and other imperfections slapped on the LA girl concealer. To lock the base in place, I baked with the Street wear powder.

Coming to the yes, I wanted to color specific eye makeup this time around. It had to be purple and gold. Started with priming the eyes with the MUR eye primer. The color play had to begin with the Brights palette by NYX. I took the matte light and deep purple shades in the palette and started building the color in the inner and outer corner of the eyes, leaving the middle untouched. You need to gradually build color and blend seamlessly. The unfilled middle portion has to be filled with gold to give that Halo effect. I used the Za mist to wet the shadow brush and picked up the gold shade from the MUA palette to show maximum color. I kept dabiing the gold till I was satisfied. The contrast of matte purples and shimmer gold looked amazing to me. Finished off by blending the colors nicely.

I thinly lined the upper lash line with the Essence pen liner and water line with the Lotus kajal. To give that touch of drama, the Big lashes mascara was the best bet.

For the cheeks I used the ever bright pink blush by Coloressence, topped up with the Sivanna highlighter.

This time around, keeping the festive look I chose to go a little different than I usually would. I wore my lips glossy. I first wore the Colorpop nude shade topped with the L’Oreal lip gloss.

To put the whole together, I wore my favorite jewelry pieces. The fun part was the manng tika which gave a whole new ethnic touch to the already desi aavatar.
