Outfit of the Day - The Yellow Dress

A Big Hello! to everyone who stopped by my space *take a bow*. This is the debut Outfit Post on my Blog Not Only Makeup also known as NoM where we will discuss on various interesting topics. I am extremely excited on this day to present to you this outfit post. So lets begin.

Indian Fashion Blog: OOTD: The Yellow Dress

Since this blog is about makeup, fashion and so much more. I thought starting it with a birthday outfit post. It was gifted by my dearest mom. As you can see it's a high low dress in happy yellow color which was a love at first sight. I love the bright color, perfect for the dreamy monsoons and my special occasion.

You can add a scarf or a statement chain or neckpiece to jazz up the look a bit, but my attraction was the dress so let it speak for itself. The neck is high and buttoned up, in a chinese collar pattern, leaving me absolutely comfortable and carefree. When you wear a bright color outfit, let it do the needful, try and keep the accessories or makeup understated. Here i wanted to do just the same. The happy color and the cut was enough to give me "The Look".

The dress has a golden pipeline in the front which gives it that elegance. The fabric is stretchable cotton, which is extremely breathable and comfortable. My day out was so relaxing thanks to the soft fabric.

I choose to keep my earrings long tasselled ones in gold currently back in vogue. Footwear is monsoon-friendly wedges, my favorites coming up in my future OOTD's too. The clutch is turquoise and golden, breaking the monotony. I think yellow and blue is always a very soothing combo. My arm candy was a blue beads bracelet and a cocktail ring. I wanted my dress to be the star of the show.

I got the clutch from shoppers paradise in my city Bangkok Market popularly known as  "BK Market" here. The shoes are from another local market here. The accessories are bought online. I love junk jewelry to the core, I simply hoard them and buy matching dresses to compliment them.Ya ya my case is a little strange i know. hehe.

For the makeup, I have again kept the combination of Blue and Yellow. I played with my eye makeup and tried giving it a "Blue Smokey Look". I filled the lips with perky pink shade, review coming up soon.

I would like to put a beautiful thought on the picture below:
