OOTD - Hello December

Hello Munchkins Air kiss

I am so excited its December, my favorite month and best time of the year. You must already know by now, how much I love this season as I have been ranting about winters almost in every recent post Yahoo The winter sets in slowly in Calcutta at his time,  it’s time to celebrate festivities, weddings, travel and beyond.

Today I will share my pictures about a look I sported in my last holiday at Sikkim. It was not very cold nor warm, it was the perfect weather to go for long walks and enjoy the time off, away from the daily mundane life Music 2 As I am writing about those days I am reliving them and I can’t be happier to share the memories back in the mountains Mosking

This outfit is a mix and match and was totally unplanned when I was packing my bag. I had thought of teaming each part of the look differently. But I am glad I experimented and came up with this look.

I teamed this grey tunic with the satin soft stockings which is a great color combo to look subdued yet in vogue. I paired this up with a black and white stole in form of a wrap around scarf. I can’t explain how much I love scarfs as they are so versatile in terms of use.  I will do a separate post on it sometime.

Next up, I got this beret and thought it would go perfectly with this look for which I got a lot of compliments Dance 4

To finish this look I added my favorite reflectors to add the color. My Coral box sling was a color addition too. I kept my footwear flat and simple to walk along down the mountains. Oh what fun in those slanting sloping roads. It was the first day of my trip and I enjoyed heaps Good

I kept my hair loose and at times I tied it into a bun. The bun life you know when you get tired at the end posing and posing  Biggrin For my makeup I smudged the colored Lakme Eyeconic kohl in green color and formed it like an eye shadow, i added a touch of green powder shadow from the Sleek palette. I applied the kohl dark to bring out the eyes. The lips were signature mix of pink and red to fulfill my desires to apply the two colors at one go.

All the stuff that you see is bought from local stores in my city.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Which is your favorite holiday destination? Let me know in the comments below.
